To create a new public Collection, click the “Search for Someone” button within the “I Am Looking for a Public Account” bar.
PLEASE NOTE: Searching for public Twitter and Instagram data will require an existing account for each respective platform. If no affiliated account information exists, the following prompt will appear:
Click “Add…” to begin the login process for each platform. Please be aware that Social Evidence does not collect any data from these accounts, nor are search results affected by any existing “friend” or “follower” associations these accounts may have. Any valid account will suffice, but you may create a new, empty account for this purpose if preferred.
1. Enter the name of your search target here using the target’s actual name or account specific username (or “handle”). You do not need to include the “@” symbol if searching via the latter. Displayed search results will include the user’s display name, handle, and profile picture. Twitter search results (indicated by the Twitter icon preceding the account display name) may include location and website URL details provided that user has given that information to Twitter. Instagram details are not included in this beta release.
2. Clicking “Create Collection for This Account” will start the collection process for this public account. You may collect multiple accounts within the displayed search results, or you may conduct a new search.
3. When finished, click here to return to the Collection Management Screen to view the status of your new Collections.
